Wellbeing Spirituality Creativity
The Avenue Church of Christ, partnering with the Hartwell Church of Christ to form the HeartWell Community, is a progressive community of faith, flowing out of a rich Christian heritage, learning to be open and accepting, diverse and inclusive, broad-minded and compassionate; a place where diversity is affirmed and people of different faith traditions, ages, gender identities, theologies and politics are welcomed and valued.
During this period of COVID19 restrictions, all HeartWell Community gatherings are online and we are enjoying the opportunity to share the life of our faith community with a wider audience! Our online program includes Sunday morning gatherings, regular small group opportunities, periodic online networks and occasional Zoom gatherings. You can find links below to connect with our online gatherings. Feel free to contact us (button above) for more information.
HeartWell Sunday morning gatherings premiere on YouTube at 10 am each Sunday and continue to be available for viewing at any time after that. Here are the most recent Sunday gatherings. Access the whole library on The Avenue YouTube channel.

Giving Beyond Ourselves
The Heartwell Community is committed to making a difference in the world. One way we do that is by providing financial, material and pastoral support to a very special project: Arising Life Ministries in Zambia. The Hartwell Church of Christ recently launched the Graeme Blair Memorial Fund for ALMS. You can read more about ALMS, about the Fund, and about how you can share in the support by clicking HERE.
When the COVID restrictions are eased and we are able to re-gather under COVIDSafe conditions you are most welcome to visit us at 1 The Avenue Surrey Hills, Victoria 3127. You can also contact us on (03) 9830 4666 or firstname.lastname@example.org .
We seek to resource people for life - to nurture the soul, to promote wellbeing and to encourage curiosity. Two of the ways we do that is through our Blog site (thoughtful articles to invite reflection) and our SoulSpace page (resources to nurture the soul).
